The APVMA is the Australian Government Statutory Authority that administers the Agricultural and Veterinary Chemicals Code (Agvet Code) and in doing so is responsible for the assessment, registration and regulation of agricultural and veterinary chemical products supplied and promoted in the Australian marketplace.

The product falls within the definition of a veterinary chemical product as it is represented as preventing, diagnosing, curing or alleviating a disease or condition in the animal or an infestation of the animal by a pest. The product is represented as boosting the immune system and reducing inflammation in the joints such as arthritis.

Section 5 of the Agvet Code defines a veterinary chemical product as including a substance or mixture of substances that is represented as being suitable for or is manufactured supplied or used for, administration or application to an animal by any means, or consumption by an animal as a way of directly or indirectly;

a) Preventing, diagnosing, curing or alleviating a disease or condition in the animal or an infestation of the animal by a pest; or

b) Curing or alleviating an injury suffered by the animal; or

c) Modifying the physiology of the animal; or

(i) so as to alter its natural development, productivity, quality or reproductive capacity; or

(ii) so as to make it more manageable; or

d) modifying the effect of another veterinary chemical product

A product requires registration if it makes a representation that fits the definition of a veterinary chemical product, or it contains ingredients that are used for a purpose that fits the definition of a veterinary chemical product or both.

Our records show that the Goochy's range of products is not registered under the Agvet Code that no application has been made to register the products and that no permit has been issued to allow its supply.

While the representations made about the product bring it within the definition of a veterinary chemical product you should also be aware that the constituents contained in the product also bring it within the definition. If the constituents have any of the effects set out in the definition of a veterinary chemical product the product requires registration before advertisement and supply in Australia. The active constituent’s selenium, amino acids and green lipped mussels may also bring the product within the definition of a veterinary chemical product irrespective of how the product is represented.

Well Goochy, I've got to tell you there is something special about your Goochy's Natural Canine concoction. I've been using it with my 2 Standard Schnauzers for about 5 months and both dogs are thriving. I'm particularly pleased with the response from Tyler who has allergy issues and often used to develop hot ears and skin irritations, since using Goochy's Natural Canine the severity of these allergic reactions has been considerably reduced and he's a much happier boy. I thank you, Tyler thanks you and I'm sure there are many more dogs out there who also thank you. It's great to see that an Australian business has once again produced something very special.

I have owned Rottweilers for the past 16 years. My dogs compete in conformation, obedience and tracking whilst also doing TV/Film work. I have always fed supplements to ensure that my dogs received the best as they are not ordinary back yard pets but at times are put under rigorous workloads when we prepare for Specialty shows, or Obedience & Tracking trials.

I decided to trial Goochy's Natural Canine & I was delighted with the results. I could see a difference in 14 days. I also couldn't believe that such a small dosage could have such an impact.

I have used many supplements over the years including expensive vitamin tablets & powders, however these become cumbersome to handle & on numerous occasions I found the tablets left in the bowl or spat out on the floor, or fussy eaters refusing to digest the powders mixed into their tucker. The beauty of Goochy's Natural Canine was that it all comes in one bottle, you simply add the required amount of drops to the food. This made supplementing very quick & easy.

Most notable were increased energy levels, shinier coats & brighter eyes. The picture was one of perfect health. I was immensely pleased with this as it saw the dogs during this time, compete in all aspects & their workload was the heaviest they had ever been under. My male Rottweiler is 6 yrs- 3 mths, which is normally a time when they begin slowing down but this looks far from inevitable. If anything, he is feeling better, looking younger & at times, playing like a puppy.

It is extremely important to me that my dogs are able to perform at their peak in their many disciplines & thanks to Goochy's Natural Canine, I am achieving this with minimal fuss. I would not hesitate to recommend the product to anyone who is serious about their dogs well being & I am available to discuss my results with anyone.

I write this letter as a testimonial for using the Goochy's Natural Canine supplement.

I had been granted the opportunity of sampling a new product called Goochy's Natural Canine and requested to submit a short response on the results of my use.

My Koolie bitch had just been joined and I believed it was an excellent prospect to discover the benefits of Goochy's Natural Canine tonic.

Sixty three days later she whelped six strong healthy pups, during her pregnancy I noticed that she never dropped in condition, in fact she looked better after the first few days than she looked when we originally brought her in from the paddocks. Her coat was shiny and her gums, eyes and teeth clear and clean and her general health improved, for she always gives everything to the pups no matter what we feed her.

As happy as I was with this, I truly was surprised when my vet of twenty years was moved to inquire for the first time, what I had the pups on, when they went for their inoculations at 6 weeks, she was impressed by their coat condition, lack of dirt or fleas, growth and mobility and general soundness. I had changed nothing, same diet, same routine, nothing new except Goochy's Natural Canine, I have continued to add it to the pups diet after they were weaned.

Being involved in rescuing dogs from death row at the pound, we see many dogs that have been neglected in many ways by their previous owners.

One of my recent dogs, a gorgeous little staffy X, came in underweight and had a skin condition that rendered her basically completely hairless on the underside. I added Goochy's Natural Canine to her diet and in the 6 weeks that she was in care, we had an incredible turn around. Not only did she put on weight, she was generally much healthier and had a lovely shiney coat grew through on her underside. The difference was incredible and I just had to attach these pics to show you! Quite interesting how her the colour of her chest patch changed as her skin condition improved too.

My current foster is a little staffy bitch who came in almost due to have a litter. She was only little but her belly was enormous. We have used the Goochy's Natural Canine in her food and she produced 8 gorgeous puppies who have been very strong from start and have continued to excel in weight, strength and structure. The vet said that we may have troubles with keeping Cookie's weight on her and, as she was desexed when she had her cesearean, she may not produce enough milk. Well she has increased her weight and has had no problems at all with milk supply. Her large wound from her cesearean also healed very quickly. Now the puppies are eating it in their food and are looking fabulous! Being a liquid it is so much easier to administer - especially to such littlies.

I'm enjoying seeing the results on the rescue dogs and am also now using it on an 8 year old long haired shepherd who is being treated for severe long term ear mite infections, has incredibly itchy skin and a hot spot. In 3 weeks, I can already see her coat improve in texture and is shiney, she has more energy and is much stronger. Her ears are now pretty good. Initially we had to help her into the back of the station wagon, but now she is able to get in herself! Although she is still a bit itchy, this has reduced substantially since we have been using Goochy's Natural Canine in her food.

Goochy's Natural Canine seems to be a great all-round product that helps make the dogs well from the inside out. I've been incredibly impressed with the results so far and will be continuing to use this great product.

…I am very impressed with Goochy’s Natural Canine. My 20 month old poodle had suffered 2 severe ear infections in less than 6 weeks which had come on very suddenly with little warning. It was while she was suffering the second one that I saw the product on the vet products direct site and thought it was worth a try. She has not had any reoccurrence since beginning on the formula. That was over two months ago. I will continue to use this product as a boost to her immune system. My other dogs get it too. I have had ear & skin issues in the past with the other 2 so have always been very careful about their diet.
